  • WATER FILTRATION AND TREATMENT

DOES THE WATER FROM YOUR EXISTING BOREHOLE
USE OR REQUIRE FILTERS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF YEILD?

We cover the North of England and work solely with the Shakesby top quality range of filtration equipment designed and manufactured by Shakesby and Sons Ltd. who have over 30 years experience in this market and have become one of the leaders in their field.  The Shakesby range are specifically designed for the removal of heavy metals sometimes present in high quantities in ground water yielded in some particular locations.

Should you live in an area where heavy metals, such as iron and manganese, are present in the ground water drawn, then we are trained to the Shakesby standard to accurately assess the type of filter required and to correctly carry out the installation of the equipment supplied, thereby ensuring that the water yielded from your private water supply is safe and  refreshing to drink.  Their knowledge and expertise guarantee the best possible water treatment.

    RELIABLE AND EFFECTIVE WATER TREATMENT
    FOR INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL SUPPLIES

Shakesby® Industrial Iron Removal Filters offer exceptional performance and reliability for almost any private water supply with a flow rate of 2m3/hr to in excess of 100m3/hr. The systems described here are for larger sites. For domestic or light industrial use.

Shakesby’s well-proven water treatment systems offer distinct advantages:

Iron removal is effected by SIRM® (Shakesby Iron Removal Medium) – which removes virtually all the iron, to give water that is substantially cleaner than the permitted national value.

On most sites, Manganese levels are also reduced to well below permitted levels. Where tests indicate that this cannot be achieved, the MG range of additional filters may be recommended. These units are regenerating filters that only remove the Manganese. They do not exchange for other metals, such as Sodium, or add anything to the water.

We can offer you either an ongoing, regular maintenance plan for the care of your filtration system, or servicing can be carried out upon request.  Please contact us using the Shakesby link where a site visit can be arranged.
